iPhone 3G 3GS Polycarbonate Glider Case - Black Obsidian

I just received this case a couple of days ago - I really like it so far & hope it holds up to my expectations.

I threw my iFrogz Luxe Case for iPhone 3G, 3G S (Orange,Black) in the trash when the CaseCrown came in, primarily because: the iFrogz case came apart easily from day one; the tabs that are supposed to help hold the top & bottom pieces together are tiny, flimsy and break WAY too easily; the cut-out for the volume/ringer is also too large on the iFrogz; and it's slightly too long for the iPhone. The CaseCrown, on the other hand, has NONE of these design flaws. Everything I liked about the iFrogz (the slim fit, glider style, smooth matte finish and inner felt lining) are present on this case AND CaseCrown's design is better.

If the finish on this case holds up, and it doesn't crack or become loose, then it may well be the best buy in a slim-fit glider style iPhone 3G/3GS case on the market today (and hard to beat going forward).

If CaseCrown would make this case in ORANGE MATTE/POLYCARBONATE (vs. shiny metallic) then I'd have two of these for sure. For the price you just can't beat this case. Bravo, CaseCrown! (Posted on 2/26/10)

This case fits nice & looks great, it is smooth enough that i can slip it in my pocket or into my purse with no restriction. It is durable enougt to protect my iphone, yes i have dropped it twice one time it landed face down. The case did not have any damage and niether did my phone. (Posted on 2/25/10)

This product is just what I was hoping it to be! I'm the type of person who likes conservativeness and elegance, and this black CaseCrown case totally delivered those traits for my iPhone. Like what the other previous reviews have mentioned, the material this case is made of provides a good grip and has a firm, tight fit. They have another model of this with a hole at the back that shows the Apple logo, but I recommend this over that.

The only minor issues that I have involve the earphone and charging port hole sizes of the case. I have this RadioShack auxiliary cable which I use to connect my iPhone to my car radio and it does not connect entirely with the case on - I ended up scraping off some of the auxiliary cable rubber head to resolve it. As for the charging port hole, I would have to remove the bottom part of the case in order to dock my iPhone to my iHome, which I'm not sure applies for all cases. Then again, I just think that it's my other accessories that have the issues and not the CaseCrown case! (Posted on 2/21/10)

This case has a solid feel and finish--not grippy like silicon but not slick like glossy plastic. Just right. I can't believe in this economy there are still people selling/buying iPhone cases for $30! This case was around $12, which is fine. (Posted on 2/18/10)

I just received this cover yesterday and was hoping it lived up to the great reviews I had read here on Amazon. It completely does. It slid right on w no problem and my fiancee was jealous bc her case does NOT have the felt lining that this one does. Looks great on!

Yes you can believe the other reviews. This case is light weight, thin and classy. It has a very nice feel and without a lot of bulk it protects my iPhone quite well. The material is not slippery so it stays put when on a slick surface especially when the phone vibrates. It fits securely on the iPhone and all the features of the phone are accessible. I'm always a little skeptical about cases; I'm pretty picky, and it's rare that I find one that I am completely satisfied with. This case, however, is one of them. Fits like a glove, nice firm and smooth yet grippy surface, adds only minimal bulk to the iPhone! The felt lining on the back interior keeps your iPhone scratch-free when inserting and removing, unlike what I've read about the Incase slider! iPhone still looks great in it, and the protection it provides guarantees that it will continue to look great when it's taken out. I absolutely love this case mainly because it doesn't bulk up the phone and it totally protects it. The fit is absolutely snug and tight so it doesn't slide around or off at all. It leaves plenty of space for all your plugs and what not. I totally recommend this case (Posted on 2/15/10)

This iPhone case is of much better quality than the iFrogz. It fits the phone better and more durable. It doesn't come with a screen protector though. SO far it has held up well. (Posted on 2/15/10)
