CCWG + Giving Project… Week 2: Laundry Love Project

Hey, Crowners!

It’s week 2 of our Giving Project as part of our CaseCrown Weekly Giveaway.  This week we’re talking about Laundry Love Project!

Here’s a little recap of our new CaseCrown Weekly Giveaway + Giving Project for those of you who are just hearing about this now.

Originally we had people comment or like on our Facebook and Twitter.  Then we selected 3 lucky winners every Friday who could claim any CaseCrown product as their prize.  This was 2011.  We took a short break in January and came back last week with a little makeover.  Here’s the good news.  We still select 3 winners every Friday.  And here’s even better news!  By incorporating our brand new Giving Project into the mix, we’re going to talk about a non-profit organization each week and donate $500!  You can help us with this project by commenting directly on our Giving Project page and sharing with your friends!

So!  With that said… back to Laundry Love Project!

Every third Thursday of the month, a local laundromat opens for a few hours in the late afternoon for people to come and do their laundry… for FREE!  Yup.  How great is that?  Many of us may take for granted having clean clothes to wear everyday, but for those who are going through some tough times… it’s more than anyone could ever ask for.  And all this happens in one of our local communities in Santa Ana.  Just picture lively music playing from the jukebox, people talking and getting to know each other, and of course… doing their laundry!  You can to have fun and build relationships while you’re at it.  Helping everyone out… that’s the whole point… and a great one.

Yup, it’s our birthday!  We turn 3 today!  Mark your calendars for the future, everybody.  It’s a very special day for us.  This is probably the first time ever in all 3 years that we’ve come out and mentioned our birthday.  But yes, it’s true.  February 6th is the day CaseCrown was born… or filed our trademark application.  Same thing.  Haha.

We asked you guys on Facebook last week how old you think we were turning.  Some of you were right on the dot!  Check out what other people have guessed here.

We’re still pretty young… only a toddler.  We’re at a complete loss of what to do.  How should we celebrate?  Any suggestions?

CaseCrown Weekly Giveaway Makes a Comeback: Giving Project

Today’s the day many of you have been waiting for.  We took a break from CaseCrown Weekly Giveaway in January, but now we’re back!

There’s been a few changes, and we’re going to get right to it.

The previous format of the giveaway was to Like us on Facebook, post on our wall, or make a shout out using #ccweekly for up to 2 entries a day, 5 days a week.

Here’s the BRAND NEW FORMAT:

-  CaseCrown makes a $500 donation to a non-profit organization every week.

-  We’ll introduce a new organization each week.

HOW YOU CAN ENTER CASECROWN WEEKLY GIVEAWAY:

-  YOU:  Make a Facebook post directly on our GIVING PROJECT page (1 entry per day).**

-  CaseCrown:  Pick 3 lucky winners at the end of each week.  Winners receive a gift of their choice from CaseCrown.***

Show your love and support for the week’s organization and enter for a chance to win a CaseCrown product of your choice!

Straightforward enough, right?

This will be our long-term project for 2012 entitled CaseCrown Weekly Giveaway: Giving Project (CCWG:GP) so be sure to continue checking back every week to learn about a new organization!

We decided to start the first week with our One Day’s Wages campaign to support the Horn of Africa Relief Fund as we introduced in early December.
