Hey, Those Who Are Deserving Of Crowns (aka Crowners, get it?),
Man, we just can’t get enough of these guys. They are just so cool. So cool. So. Cool. If you’re still not getting the picture I’m basically just saying that I really like what these guys do and I wouldn’t mind baking each and every single one of them a huge batch of freshly made chocolate-chip cookies with a tall glass of milk for dunking (of course) in order to try and communicate my appreciation for all that they do. Either that or just continue to blog about them and encourage people to get on board with their organization. Hmm… I’ll have to think about that one…
Well, in the meantime let me just rehash (no, not the Twitter kind) the innermost workings of Laundry Love Project: Santa Ana and the world and vision that they are hoping to create. Here we go…
So Laundry Love Santa Ana is set up in sunny Santa Ana, CA where every third Thursday of the month a laundromat opens its doors to people who need help getting their laundry done and so they provide not only a place for that to happen but also a fun environment where those who need help can come and have a place of rest, even if it’s just for a couple cycles of wash!
Not only that, but I hear that there are some pretty sweet dance parties that break out during these fun times of friendship and fellowship! I mean, washing clothes is only slightly under Disneyland in rankings of things that are exhilarating to do (for those that don’t understand that Disneyland is the most magical place on earth and doing laundry comes nowhere close to that then allow me to clarify: I just might be kidding on this one) dancing always seems to spice (specifically Posh Spice) up almost anything you might be doing! So put the two together and you get an awesome time of laughter, wonderful (and not so wonderful) dancing, and washing clothes that desperately need it! I mean, what more could you ask for?
I know that you are probably dying to know how you can get involved so just hold your horses (cowboy reference, anyone?), I’m going to tell you exactly what you can do!
Step one: Visit their website to see what they’re all about and how you can help.
Step two: Tell everyone you know (yes, even that crazy uncle Vince who doesn’t come around much).
Step three: Repeat Steps one and two.
Welp… thats pretty much it! Don’t forget to be on the lookout for more information throughout the week about these guys on our different social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Flickr, Myspace? Jk about that last one). Also this week, don’t forget to post a comment on our Giving Project site to be entered in to our Weekly Giveaway where you can win cool prizes and stuff. You know… cars… boats… houses… small countries… the usual. Keep up being awesome, Crowners!
